MB-78EI system is destined for interior and exterior fireproof partitioning using doors with simple or double opening, with fireproof class EI 15, EI30, EI45, EI60 or EI90, according to PN-EN 13501-2:2010 standard. The profile offers very good thermal insulation (Uf from 1,60 W/(m2) and acoustic insulation (from 40dB).
Optimized production costs, numerous advantages and compatibility with other systems makes this very popular and much used.
The MB-78EI uses aluminium profile with thermal insulation, with 78mm construction depth. Very low heat transfer coefficient is due to specially profiled thermal barriers 34mm wide. High temperature resistance is given by special fireproof insertions such as GKF or CI in the inside chambers of the profiles and in isolation spaces between profiles as well as the steel accessories and assemblies.
Filling thickness is between 6 and 49mm. Fillings may be standard fireproof glass as well as matte sandwitch type composite elements with sheet metal and panels that ensure the necessary fireproofing protection. Smoke proof constructions can also be made using this system.
Esthetic consideration and special shapes can be created because the system allows for angled walls, curved profile and curved structure as well as oblique connection elements and decorative mullions to be built/added.
Overall allowed dimensions range includes fixed partitions up to 4m high and automatic doors with 1,4 x 2,5m (LxH) wings. MB78-IE doors may installed individually as well as within large glass walls, same as the fireproof facades of the MB-SR50EI and MB-SR50N EI.
The system has several important advantages and construction options, wide range of hinges, shock absorbers and other fittings as well as an optimized manufacturing process. This allows the building of automatic sliding doors MB-78EI DPA with fireproofing class EI15 or EI30 and can form a basis for the MB-78EI walls without sash, MB-118EI walls that can achieve fireproofing class EI120.
MB78-EI system is covered by the technical agreement of ITB nr. AT-15-6006/2016 and british certification CERTIFIRE nr. CF5138.
